Insert a stack of 500 letter and legal sheets and close the lid. The 500X shreds all of it mechanically. 500X shredder is super cross-cut (Level P-4) for on a regular basis security. The paper chamber locks and requires 4-digit PIN code to open. When shredding is completed, it unlocks mechanically and shuts down if inactive for 2 mins. Intelligent Auto Plus Jam Clearance mechanically reverses and refeeds stuck sheets all over auto shred; Intelligent Interactive Jam Clearance uses LED lighting fixtures as a guide to work thru clearing a more difficult jam. Manual feed slot can frequently shred 10 sheets at a time. Place bank cards between the autofeed rollers and close the lid to shred. DVDs/CDs may also be shredded thru a separate slot within the autofeed tray. Intelligent SelfOil mechanically lubricates cutters.
