By its nature, the fountain pen forces us to think more about what we write, and by doing so makes us write better. This is the reason this collector’s writing instrument isn’t just a gorgeous object to own, but could also be an object for use, an enjoy, a option to leave our mark.

This money will likely be utilized by the Shakespeare Birthplace Agree with to reinforce and extend its activity in promoting and figuring out Shakespeare’s work, life and times.
Created from oak – the normal wood of old England – and antique silver, the cap of the pen shows the imprint of his signet ring, held within the archives of the SHAKESPEARE BIRTHPLACE TRUST.
The cap itself, enriched by a clip decorated with a quill, is fully handmade in antique silver – as is the nib holder and tip of the Roller Ball – and is decorated with friezes from Shakespeare’s time.
An image of a creator, At the left side, complements the reproduction of one essentially the most famous portraits of Shakespeare At the right.
At the bottom of the pen, also made in antique silver, the unique Parish Register entry is engraved: “Gulielmus filius Johannes Shakspere”.
The nib, in 18kt gold, and To be had within the Italic style, is engraved with William Shakespeare’s initials, W.S.
