The Montegrappa Barbiere di Siviglia Silver Rollerball Pen is a tribute to the popular and loved Barber of Seville opera. The pen reflects the tale: Rely Almaviva enlists Figaro the barber to lend a hand woo Rosina, the name of the game passion of her lecherous guardian Don Bartolo. To capture the spirit of Rossini’s masterwork, Montegrappa has hired ancient die-casting tactics. The Pen starts with a sculpture meticulously hand-formed by an artist over a duration of many months, making sure that the pens which result from the hassle are artistic endeavors in their very own proper. To capture the main points and finesse of the sculpture, Montegrappa works precious metals with the lost wax casting methodology, the emergent shape finished by hand.
