Use of veneers enables more decorative looks inconceivable with solid picket. Veneers are used over durable picket products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, fabricated from renewable resources. MDF and particle board are utilized in quality furniture for areas that wish to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable picket products don’t expand and contract with warmth and cold and don’t take in moisture up to solid picket, which leads to stronger and longer-lasting furniture.
