The E-500 packs a protected and silent punch to eliminate over the top humidity for as much as ten years. How It Works: The E-500 uses a renewable silica gel technology that works without batteries or power. This renewable solution may also be placed in any area as much as 500 cubic feet and will silently absorb moisture. As the unit absorbs the humidity there may be an indicator window that incorporates crystals on the way to change from Orange to Green. Note: There are no lights at the unit, so please check the real color of the beads. Once it has reached its capacity (6-8 oz),this will have to take between 3-8 weeks, but will vary depending on specific conditions. Once the crystals have changed to Green, it is able to be plugged in for 12 to 14 hours in a well-ventilated area. After 12 to 14 hours the crystals may have changed back to Orange and it’s able for use again. The method may also be repeated for as much as 10 years! No messy spills to scrub or refills to shop for…ever! Even at full capacity, the E-500 will never leak or spill a single drop of liquid. It captures moisture vapor from the air and helps to keep it contained throughout the beads until the unit is able to renew.
